Baseball Anyone?

You know I really like a lot of you regulars right?

That said, the current trend of comments is not to my liking.  Starting right now I will be implementing Step 1 of my options.  From there I may advance to 2 and/or 3.

  1. Starting right now I will be deleting all comments I don’t like no matter how long you’ve been contributing to this blog
  2. If that doesn’t work, I will start banning anyone that persists in posting comments I don’t like
  3. If that doesn’t work, I will turn to moderating comments

Hopefully, if I start deleting 1 particular persons comments the rest of you can get back to discussing baseball or whatever topic you want in a civilized manner.

That is all.

    Sorry fish;
    Tried to ignore the situation but my sense of humor got the best of me. It gets me in trouble allot…

    Change in Schedule;
    WSU to play SCSU in a twin bill Sunday 2/21/10 starting at 7:00 PM.

      That’s not the only change. Found out today WSC plays all 4 games this weekend against Neb-Kearney at La-Junta JC in Colorado instead of 2 against Kearney and 2 against CSM in Golden Colorado. 9″ of the white stuff put the kibosh on that. Not sure what happened to Augie. They were supposed to have games there also.

    Whoops; In the homer dome.

    Sorry fish, didn’t mean to cause you any heart ache. You pour a lot of your own time into this blog but I must say it’s a shame it’s always the guy who throws the 2ed punch that gets caught. I’m the one who has “Your comment is awaiting moderation” written under 3 of my post. Sure would be nice if the “Root Cause” was looked at instead. Besides teach Ima made me laugh! But I promiss from now on nothing but baseball outa me.

    Ah;
    I just figured out why you were so disapointed in not going to Golden. Isn’t that the home of Coors? Would you have made it to the game anyway…

    My apologies also. I will do a better job of talking baseball and not letting it be a personal thing.

    Does anyone else think that having a 9-7 9-7 conference schedule seem like a little much? I was looking at some other conferences and they have a 9-7 Saturday and then just one 9 on Sunday which seems to make a little more sense. Thoughts? Thanks.

    I am sure if you ask the players they would say it’s great as there will be allot more players involved that normally wouldn’t be so everyone’s bench will really impact their success. I don’t know if the coaches staffed up enough with pitchers seeing as there are limits on number of players. Did they all know this was coming?
    I think what will be very interesting is you will likely see people pitch who are not pitchers in college but were in HS. Remember Jose Conseco’s de′but? And others.
    I like it and think it will have a bigger impact than people think.

    Thanks for the thoughts guys. As a player I feel it will be nice to get more guys some PT and more pitchers the opportunity to throw. I think the only problem some teams will run into is pictching depth and pitch counts. Arms will get tired and it will be interesting to see how these weekend series will impact the mid week games. Thanks.

    Now that the composite bat is banned, who thinks it will make a difference with teams hitting and homerun out put. I for one think it will.

    Stat Rat has been banned after insulting my family.

    If he tries to get around the ban my next option is to require that users log in – I’d prefer that to moderating comments.
