NCAA D2 College Baseball Regional Tracking

The 8 NCAA Division 2 College Baseball Regional Tournaments begin today.  The winners of each double elimination Region will advance to the D2 College World Series in Cary, NC for a chance to win the National Championship. 

With the start of these Tournaments I thought many readers would like to keep track of what’s happening all across the country in these playoffs (some of the sites are missing or incomplete and I’ll try to update later) –

    Cats pounded out 21 hits on the way to an 11-3 win. Great pitching from Voth and Meier.

    Southwest Minnesota State broke a 3-3 tie in the 8th inning and went on to an 11-3 win over the Mavericks. SMSU will face Wayne State tomorrow night, Mankato will take on the Mesa State/CSU-Pueblo winner.

    Mesa State down 3-0 in the second, but has erupted for 6 runs so far on back-to-back homers, and the inning is still going. Mesa up 6-3.

    Mesa State defeated Colorado State-Pueblo 17-6.

    Friday’s schedule:

    Colorado State-Pueblo vs. New Mexico Highlands (elimination game)
    Mesa State vs. Minnesota State-Mankato
    Wayne State vs. Southwest Minnesota State
