Six of the eight teams headed to Cary, NC for the NCAA Division 2 College World Series were decided yesterday with the other 2 happening today. Those 2 remaining Regional teams include the South Central Region where Emporia State and Central Missouri play a single winner take all game to decide who advances. The South Region is down to Florida Southern and Lynn. Florida Southern must beat Lynn twice today in order to have a chance to advance.
The D2 College World Series is divided into 2 – 4 team brackets which will play their own mini-double elimination tournament to decide a champion. Then, each of those bracket champions will play a single game against the other bracket’s winner to determine the NCAA Division II College Baseball National Champion. That game is scheduled for Saturday May 30th.

Bracket 1 -
Mesa State (Central) vs. Belmont Abbey (Southeast) – Saturday May 23rd 1pm
Grand Valley State (Midwest) vs. winner of Emporia State vs. Central Missouri (South Central) – Saturday May 23rd 5pm
Bracket 2 -
UC San Diego (West) vs. Dowling (East) – Sunday May 24th 1pm
West Chester (Atlantic) vs. winner of Lynn vs. Florida Southern (South) – Sunday May 24th 5pm
